Starting Salary: £26,582.00 per annum
Location: Severn Bridge Specialist Bridges – M5 Avonmouth Bridge, M4 Prince of Wales Bridge, M48 Severn Bridge.
Working hours per week: Monday – Friday 7:00 – 15:30, Possible overtime weekend & Night work. 40hrs/week

As part of your apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto the Civil Engineering Technician Level 3 programme, which takes approximately 39 months to complete. You will be fully supported by our partnered college, with 1‑2‑1 guidance, e‑learning materials, and a team of experts on hand to provide advice and technical knowledge in your workplace.

Severn Bridges is working in partnership with National Highways on the Specialist Bridges Inspection & Maintenance contract across three major structures in the Southwest of England over a 15‑year period. This includes: M5 Avonmouth Bridge, M4 Prince of Wales Bridge and M48 Severn Bridge.
We are responsible for cyclic maintenance, daily structural inspection checks, safety patrols, and responding to incidents affecting structural integrity.
