Apprentice Plumbing and Heating Engineer (Gas) – Fixed Term Contract – 48 months

We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Plumbing and Heating with Gas Engineer to join our team based from our office in Leeds, LS10 1BL.

About the Role.

Working alongside qualified plumbing, heating and gas engineers. providing a range of services for social housing providers in domestic properties, within the Yorkshire Region.This will include but not limited to reactive repairs, planned works, fault finding, reactive boiler replacements & Landlords Gas safety inspections.Working efficiently and safely, in line with best practice, whilst achieving excellent customer experience results.

You will attend Leeds College of Building on day release, completing Level 3 Domestic Plumbing and Heating Technician Apprenticeship, recording off the job learning and producing a portfolio of evidence in preparation for the end point assessment (EPA). The ability to travel to the college and the Hunslet office is essential.

You’ll have excellent demonstratable interpersonal skills and cultural awareness when dealing with colleagues, customers and clients.

About You

• GCSE Maths, English & Science grade 4-9 (C-A*) or Functional Skills Level 2 is essential
• Proven reliability and excellent punctuality
• A positive, can-do attitude to work
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to follow Health and Safety regulations
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Capable of using your own initiative
• Have work experience or currently/previously studied
  Plumbing and Heating at any level
