We are recruiting for Electrical Utilities Engineers to carry out a wide range of planned and reactive electrical maintenance activities on facility and Utilities plant and equipment which can include installations, repairs, replacements, electrical distribution testing and modifications.
Location: Reading/ Basingstoke area
Salary: £27,420 – £40,000 (dependent on experience) plus generous workplace allowances

On a day-to-day basis, you will apply and hone your trade skills, working in accordance with RAMS in a safe and effective manner.
This work will include a variety of planned and reactive maintenance, including defect rectification. The work will be on a range of systems including electrical distribution, specialist production equipment and ventilation systems
Key accountabilities:
Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
Troubleshooting and fault rectification electrical issues
Installing and upgrading electrical systems and equipment
Test and inspect of electrical systems and equipment
Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
Following all safety procedures and regulations
Though not to be considered a check list, candidates would benefit from knowledge/experience of ANY of the following:
Fault finding techniques and methodologies
Strong safety culture and working to industry standards
C & G 2391 Inspection and Test, would be a plus
Previous experience in a building, plant or manufacturing environment
Operational Craft experience
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:
Engineering Apprenticeship NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in relevant discipline or NVQ/Diploma Level 2 plus industrial experience
A recognised relevant qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC or BTEC Level 3
18th Edition BS7671
All Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and be willing and able to work in designated areas.
