We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Highways Inspector to join our dynamic Trafford team at our Trafford Depot in Manchester, (M23 9LF). This role will be carried out onsite.
This position offers a competitive and overtime paid at time and a half.
The standard working hours for this role are 37.5 hours a week.
As a Permanent Highways Inspector, your role is crucial in maintaining the safety and functionality of the Trafford highway network. You’ll conduct inspections, enforce regulations, and initiate repairs, directly impacting community safety and wellbeing.
Your efforts will prevent accidents and improve the quality of life for residents and visitors. By ensuring well-maintained roads, you’ll also enhance transportation efficiency and support economic growth.
Your technical expertise and diligent monitoring will help build trust and confidence in our services, making a tangible difference in the daily lives of highway users and contributing to the excellence of the Trafford Account.
The successful candidate may be required to assist with incidents that may have occurred outside normal working hours in the interest of the service, such as for an emergency.
