Pre-Construction Manager (Southern Home Counties Business Unit)
Location: Brighton/Canterbury Office – Covering Sussex, Surrey & Kent
Project Based/Office Based, with flexibility for occasional remote working
We are looking for an experienced and talented Pre-Construction Manager to lead, manage and have accountability of pre-construction activities in a two-stage tender environment, including the timely
submission of completed bids, ensuring that the Southern Home Counties Business is positioned with the best possible chance of successful project delivery.

Summary of Role
A Pre-Construction Manager who will be responsible for leading all pre-construction activities on behalf of MSC, including coordinating the activity of consultants, supply chain and MSC team members.
Also responsible for submitting completed bids to existing or prospective customers, on time and within budget ensuring the highest level of detail and quality, and that MSC is positioned with the best possible chance of success in bringing projects to construction.

As an experienced Pre-Construction Manager, you will have the ability to work with senior management to set project and operational targets, excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills and the ability to make a sound business case to senior stakeholders.
Previous senior level involvement in work winning would be an advantage.
