Amey Engineering teams improve the environment and create sustainable flooding solutions across the UK, by working in partnership with a range of clients, providing consultancy design services for Local Authorities, Strategic and Local transport providers and organisations delivering National Infrastructure. The role
Due to the increased workload, we are seeking to recruit a Principal Scour Management Engineer / Team Leader. The successful candidate will undertake and oversee the production of Scour Risk Management plans, scour assessments, feasibility studies and design, leading a dedicated scour team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the Flooding and Water Management team in Scotland in our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices, providing effective support and assistance to Engineers and team leaders on a variety of scour-related schemes.
We are working on a range of scour management projects for Transport Scotland, Regional Authorities in Scotland, Wales, South-West and Midlands areas, National Highways and Network Rail, and looking to expand further in these areas. We are also confirmed as the lead engineering consultant working with the NI Department for Infrastructure (DFI) on their Water and Departmental Delivery contract for the next five years, as well as NI Transport Asset Management and Translink contracts.
