Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will take on the responsibility for managing a team of engineers. You will be working a 24/7 shift pattern with your team, who will be maintaining Traffic Signals, Variable Message Signs, Over-height Vehicle Detection, and associated ancillary equipment.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure Health and Safety of Staff is prioritised at all times
  • Manage the various workstreams within Corrective Maintenance
  • Ensuring all Clients SLA’s / KPI’s are met or exceeded Maintain operational control over the maintenance project during your shift
  • Support your team to comply with company’s policy
  • Responsible for managing Preventative Maintenance Tasks
  • Provide quality assurance for all activities during your shift both in the field and on our contract management systems
  • Actively develop your team to help them improve and achieve their goals and objectives.
  • Mentor your team to assist in their career development.

Who you are:

You will have previous experience within a similar role, ideally leading a team of engineers within a technical environment although we will consider candidates from other backgrounds.

Key requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to bring together diverse groups and understand the complexity, challenge and pressures of people working in a field-based environment.
  • Understanding of technical concepts
  • Microsoft Office Experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
