BuildForce Insight Day, sponsored by STRABAG Oct 25

On 1st October 2025, BuildForce held their Nationwide Insight Day in Manchester, sponsored by STRABAG.

An engaging #constructionindustry event filled with our incredible career chats; followed by our networking master class led by Pru Ashby and Darren Duery; into our speakers panel expertly chaired by our CEO Angela Forbes MBE and our STRABAG industry leads: Technical Project Director Laurence McCarthy, SCS HS2 JV Project Director David Hannon MCIOB MPWI MAPM and Business Unit Director Craig Sewell sharing their inspirational transitions and life at STRABAG.

We heard from Caroline Logan to guide our service leaver community on how to successfully navigate the day, followed by Mental Health partner Bernie Graham, who introduced our Wellbeing Hub, offering additional support to our candidates.

Thanks to Natascha Pellegrinetti and Andy Lax for their fantastic planning and coordination, the wider STRABAG team, all our incredible inspirational speakers, our supportive Ambassadors and mentors, and the passion from our employers in the room – providing a safe space for our candidates to engage in meaningful conversations.
