Virtual Career Chat: Life on HS2 as an ex-military woman
An all female event; whether serving, veteran, reservist or spouse to learn more about the world’s largest infrastructure project, HS2 and what a career might look like – join our fantastic panel of leading ladies covering a breadth of skill sets:
Rebecca Crook: RS Veteran who has transitioned recently to Project Management for HS2 Euston – she was always interested in the construction sector so made it her goal and with the support of BuildForce her dream came true and she landed her first role at Mace.
Erika Johnson: Consents Business Manager and Data Controller for joint venture BBV. RAF veteran and military spouse who landed in construction quite by chance, where she processes all the Environmental and Planning Consents.
Jemma Barton: Former RS LCpl turned Operational Support Room Operator for joint venture EKFB, monitoring and administering the delivery of plant and materials to site, ensuring the supply chain complies with the HS2 Act.
Jackie Duncan MBE MBA: RAF Veteran, BuildForce Mentor and Operations Director for Mace. The first female Chinook helicopter pilot who is now an integral part of the leadership team delivering the multi billion pound HS2 London terminus station at Euston for Mace.
Joined also by the resourcing leads for BBV, Holly O’Neill who has been instrumental to our success within BBV and military spouse Amy Flynn and key contact for EKFB. And our skills manager, Jhen-Nel Swanston and team providing the ‘why’ diversity is key to delivering HS2.
Finished off with our Q&A panel expertly led by our own inspirational female and CEO, Angela Forbes.
