Your new role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Catering Team Leader to join our Edinburgh Schools account in Craigour Park Primary School, 100 Moredun Park Rd, Edinburgh EH17 7HL.

 

 This role is on-site based.

 

Amey delivers facilities and estate management services to the Renfrew Schools Private Finance Initiative across an estate of nine schools.

 

Catering Team leader – This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to your local community by working in a lively local school, preparing and providing school meals.

 

The standard hours of work are 35 Hours Per Week  (Shift pattern – MON to FRI 7:30am -15:00pm)

You will be responsible for:

  • ensuring the day to day running of the kitchen and service area is outstanding.
  • This is a hands-on role, where you will be responsible for efficient food preparation, as per menu guidelines, undertaking and monitoring stock control, supervising 6 members of staff to work within COSHH and HACCP and provide a catering service in a safe and hygienic environment.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Cook experience.
  • Highly organised, responsible, efficient, and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer services skills, friendly, approachable with a positive work ethic
  • Welcome the opportunity to learn and support others
  • Management experience not essential
  • Basic IT skills
  • Basic Numeracy/ literacy skills
