Cleaner/Housekeeper

Your new role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our Dumfries and Galloway schools account in Lockerbie Academy, Glasgow Road, Lockerbie DG11 2AT.

This role is on-site based.

Salary £12.00 per hour

The standard hours of work are 15 hours per week (Shift pattern 15:30PM-18:30PM Monday to Friday)

We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.

Cleaner/Housekeepers play an important part in providing high quality cleaning service throughout the schools designated area, maintaining a clean and safe environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Provide a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements.
• Control stock levels and order consumables 
• Operate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided.
• Ensure a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
