Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Thursday (NO FRIDAYS)

About the role

Amey is recruiting a PAT Tester to join the team in Oldbury-on-Severn. This is a secure, site-based role offering a 4-day working week, a supportive team environment, and a strong focus on quality over speed.

Working on-site, you’ll ensure all electrical equipment is safe, compliant and tested to current standards. The environment is structured and safety-led, with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) across site
• Ensure all equipment complies with current safety standards
• Maintain accurate testing records and documentation
• Work safely and in line with procedures
• Manage your own workload while supporting the team

What you’ll bring

Required

• City & Guilds 2377 (PAT Testing qualification)
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Basic IT skills

Desirable

• Previous PAT testing experience
• Experience using SimplyPATS software
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Proactive approach
