Shape the Future of Scotland’s Roads
Your New Role
Are you an experienced highways professional ready to take the next step in your career? Do you thrive leading teams, solving problems on the ground, and making a real difference to communities?
At Amey, we have an exciting opportunity for a Highways Supervisor to join our NMC North East contract in Perth, working in partnership with Transport Scotland to maintain and improve one of Scotland’s most vital road networks.
Since 2022, our team has been responsible for keeping more than 593km of trunk roads safe, resilient and operational, supporting thousands of journeys every day. From routine maintenance and bridge repairs to managing emergency incidents and severe weather response, we help keep Scotland moving while contributing towards a more sustainable future and the achievement of net zero targets.
This is your opportunity to play a key role in delivering essential infrastructure services that make a difference every day.
The Role
As a Highways Supervisor, you’ll lead frontline operational teams, ensuring maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. You’ll be the vital link between planning and delivery, supporting gangs on site, managing resources, and responding to operational challenges as they arise.
No two days are the same. Whether you’re overseeing planned works, coordinating emergency responses, supporting winter maintenance operations, or ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our network operating safely and effectively.
