Amey Consulting – Senior Civil Engineer
We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Senior Engineer to join our Consulting Highways team in Dublin.
The standard hours of work are 37,5 Hours per week, but we offer a range of flexible working practices, including hybrid, part-time and flexible working patterns. Located in Dublin’s thriving Docklands, our new office at The Freight Building is at the heart of our expansion in Ireland. It provides a modern, flexible workspace designed for collaboration and innovation. You will join a vibrant team of engineers, project managers, data analysts, commercial experts, safety specialists and operatives working together to support national and regional infrastructure priorities.
Amey’s growth in Ireland is supported by strong partnerships with transport authorities such as Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and Iarnród Éireann through various infrastructure frameworks. These include projects to improve strategic road and rail networks, enhancing safety, strengthening resilience, and improving connectivity for communities across Ireland.
What you will be doing
Our Senior Engineers play an important part within Highways team. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will lead junior engineers in designing and delivering a variety of highway and public transport projects, including cycleways, greenways, junction improvements, highway drainage/SUDs, bus priority measures, pavement schemes, maintenance programs, and major roads or bridges. As part of our Dublin team, you’ll work on local projects and support initiatives in Ireland and the UK remotely.
