We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Street Cleaning Supervisor to join our dynamic Trafford Account that will be based from Tatton House, 11 Caldey Road, Roundthorn Industrial Estate, Wythenshawe, Manchester, M23 9LF.

This role is 50/50 in office and out onsite.

 

This position offers a competitive salary and overtime.

 

The standard working hours for this role are 37.25 hours a week.

 

In this role, you will support the Trafford Account by being responsible for the cleanliness of the whole of Trafford and undertake a range of street cleaning and street care activities to ensure that public spaces across the Borough are maintained to a high environmental quality. The Council operates in accordance with the code of practice on litter and refuse, thereby helping to provide an attractive and diverse environment, where people feel safe and secure.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain high standards and oversee safety briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure team and public safety in compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Monitor resource utilisation and conduct cost-value analyses
  • Liaise with various contractors, manage records, and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations and manage resources efficiently
